Everyone‘s favourite indie pop/jangly guitar band, The Shop Window are back with new single Lay Of The Land.
Lay Of The Land is a taster of what’s to come from the 4-pieces second album, release date to be confirmed.
This is a real anthemic track with a splash of psychedelia added to the mix.
“All the while there’a stars above, I will fall out with love it’s the meaning of life, it’s just the lay of the land, futures shaped in our hands, it’s the meaning of life”
As with songs on the bands debut album (The State of Being Human), Lay of The Land, features a catchy chorus, killer verses and memorable guitar hooks.
“It’s about experiencing dark times along the way, getting lost down a few rabbit holes, meeting the wrong people and getting oneself back into a better place. Eventually figuring out what this is all about, Love!” Carl Mann
Yet again The Shop Window have delivered a great song for our listening pleasure. A song with powerful and relatable lyrics that will stand the test of time in any era.
