BLÜ is a new underground indie artist from Illkeston and has amassed nearly 14,000 streams on Spotify highly impressive stats for a 16 year old. 

Her new single: Sad Songs and Cheap Hair Dye is an up-tempo and brilliant indie rock tune, with a great guitar riff and pounding drums throughout the track. 

BLÜ has a fantastic voice and this is very evident here, with her soft vocal tone and an ease of going from high to low notes and everything in between. 

Lyrically the song talks of learning from bad experiences and not dwelling on them and turning them into a positive experience.

BLÜ is a regular performer on the local open mic circuit which led to her being awarded youngfemale artist of 2020 from one such event. 

With plans for a debut EP in early 2022, the future looks very bright for this highly talented singe/songwriter.
