Indie rockers Cowgirl are set to release their debut album Cowgirl and it’s full of blistering rocknroll anthems.
Opening things off is lead single Better With You,a track full of swagger and brimming with optimism.
Something I Needed To Do, is a melody rich atmospheric track featuring heavy guitars backed with a rumbling bass line and an anthemic chorus.
Time Moves Along is an upbeat energetic rocknroll tune full of fuzzy guitar riffs that will have you jumping around to. Check out those thundering drums in the chorus!
Is What It Is is a fast paced rocknroll stomper and is another example of the band writing a well-crafted melody that will live long in the memory.
Figure It Out is a a mid tempo rocker, with jangly acoustic guitar, great harmonies and a brilliant melody that and has a hint of The Las and Cast.
Without You a rip snorter of an opener, which builds into an atmospheric track and a similar sound to later day Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. The guitar solo in the outro is mesmerising.

I Can’t Help It is a great way to end the album. Bit of slide guitar that the song is based around along with great poignant lyrics a marching drum beat. A song that I’m sure will sound epic live.
“The album touches on personal experiences and relationships. The arrival of winter and feeling bummed out & disillusioned with everything. It’s maybe a little more introspective than anything we’ve done before. A little more thoughtful, probably due to us growing as songwriters and just growing as people” says Sam Coates (vocals/guitars).
