Following on from the critical and fan acclaimed EP Iconic, The Skinner Brothers are back with a brand new EP “Culture Non Stop”, which sees them firmly cement their place as rising rocknroll stars.
Culture Non Stop features 4 new tracks, including new single Jericho Star.
Culture Non Stop starts the EP off with a bang! Culture Non Stop features “Iconic” and gritty guitar riffs throughout the song. The theme of the song is a direct message to people who give opinions on subjects that they don’t understand or have any knowledge of.
🎶 I need the music in my system to feel high🎶
Told You So is a euphoric and triumphant song, in the mould of troubadour Jamie T. The song bounces along, full of swirling guitars, a driving drum best and a chorus that will be yelled back at the band at the bands upcoming gigs.
🎶I couldn’t give a monkeys if it’s rockn’ and rollin’ to the rhythm and the blues🎶
Jericho Star brings the pace down and has a soulful meets ska vibe. The song sees Zak at his most vulnerable and tender side as the song is a expression of love from the front man.
🎶Rise up my sweet Jericho Star🎶
Mountain High has a dance and psychedelic vibe (think The Prodigy) about it, featuring thunderous drumming and gritty guitar riffs. Thanks to its dance vibe, I think this song will go down a storm at live gigs. The song encapsulates a feeling of what’s it like being at a gig and hearing a song for the first time. Listen out for the crossbar ping during the verses!
🎶 Break through that music that vibes through your soul, no feeling your legs when you lose all control🎶
Written and produced in Zak’s home studio, and mixed by Grammy nominated James Krausse, Culture Non Stop, cements Zak’s credentials as one of the most exciting songwriters of his generation, with an ear for writing catchy and soulful melodies; it’s only a matter of time before The Skinner Brothers are taking over the airwaves, playing bigger venues across the country and becoming one of the bands of their generation.

Culture Non Stop is released on Friday 6th August and can be pre-saved here
