Lottie is set to release her new single Lights Out on 23 July.
It is the first single set to be felt from her debut album, set to be released later this year.
The song starts off with a beautiful piece of piano playing, before a big dance hall style drum is added into the mix, providing the song with a real groove.
The lyrics discuss the emotions of failing in love, before the relationship starts hitting trouble. Lottie showcases her full soulful vocal range in this song, which is fantastic to listen to and, you can hear the pure emotion in the delivery of the vocal.
A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, all her songs are voiced from a lesbian perspective.
Lights out is a catchy song with a melody and beat that will immediately draw you in.
“It’s important to me to create the music I was desperately looking for when I first came out as gay. I want to sing about the ups and downs of love from my own personal perspective and hope that in doing so, I can help others feel less alone on their own journey“- Lottie
