Go! Go! Go! is the fantastic energetic and raw debut EP from Berlin indie-garage rock trio LOBSTERBOMB. 

Recorded by the band DIY style and mixed by Peter Thoms from popular German punk band Akne Kid Joe, Go! Go! Go! examines feelings of doubt and a sense of optimism that change is within reach. 

Yes Yes Yeah is track one and was the bands debut single. Start off instantly with a marching drum best before an epic guitar riff swoons in, the lyrics identify the feeling of starting a new romance and the feelings that encounters.  A great start to the EP. 

I Want Noise is an blistering punk rock track, with a real confidence about it. The chorus brings images of want the band want the crowd to do whilst performing the song live. 

“I want chaos, want noise”

Wake Up was the bands most recent single and is my own personal favourite. It is a really energetic track, with thundering drums and epic guitar riffs throughout, which always leaves me feeling pumped and ready to take on the world. There is an early BRMC vibe about this song. Lyrically the song is about overcoming the frustrations of being trapped in a unfulfilling routine and overcoming the pressure that society places on us to live our lives in a certain way.

Monster is a track that lives up to its name! The intro reminds me of The  Stooges I Wanna Be Your Dog  and would be a great song for a movie soundtrack. Monster has a real groove to it and big pounding drums. Check out the middle 8, with the track slowing right down to the drums before building up and exploding back into life with its epic guitar riff. A song about facing and conquering your demons.

Ready To Go starts off with some frantic  drumming before exploding into life with  the guitar playing.  The song has a real energy and buzz about it; it’s a real stomper. The songs theme is about you gaining the energy and motivation to throw yourself into something new and feel “Ready To Go” out into the world. 

Go! Go! Go! is an EP that challenges and asks questions of personal introspection, desire for change and individual growth. But above all else it’s the sound of a band having the best time in the world. 

LOBSTERBOMB formed in a Berlin basement in 2020 and consists of Nico Rosch(vocals/guitar), Vik Chi(drums) and Crayon Jones(guitar). The band met after posting handwritten classified ads online. With a shared ambition of making something happen after some false starts with previous bands, the  future is very bright for LOBSTERBOMB and I can’t wait to see whats in store next.
