North west indie rockers, Muddy Elephant are back with their first single release of 2021, with When In Rome on July 9th. 

When In Rome is both instantly and insanely catchy and will soundtrack summer parties and fill indie dancefloors across the country. In fact as I’m writing this I am doing a little jig!! 

The song is fast paced, energetic and a lot of fun. The song is about failing in love, packing your bags and running away on holiday; a story that will be relatable to many. 

As well as an upbeat sound, the lyrics are instantly memorable and features the catchy chorus: 

‘When in Rome, she is a fantasy, you don’t know what you do to me’.

The cleverness of the lyrics, remind me of some of Alex Turner’s, although the sound of the song is more along the sound of Viola Beach, Two Door Cinema Club and indie legends Blossoms and, When In Rome would have fitted perfectly on the laters most recent album, Foolish Love Spaces. 

When In Rome, is a anthemic indie pop song, that is insanely catchy and will have you hooked from the first beat to the last.
