Darlings are an energetic electronic duo hailing from west Yorkshire and on Friday 18th June, are set to release their new single “The Devil”. 

From the first minute to the last, The Devil is a great anthem, perfect for the summer days that lay ahead and should be the soundtrack of the summer.  Once this gets played at indie nights across the land, the dance floor will fill instantly.

“Sticks and stones won’t break your fall, you think your incredible”

This is a punchy track, mixed with synths, passionate vocals and  triumphant guitars ranging from atmospheric to fuzz and a pounding drum beat. The song has a great spirit and was self-produced and mixed by the band.

Frontman Harley commented: 

“Everyone has a pal who thinks they’re ‘The Shit’, but deep down they’re a bit of a “Bell End” and everyone knows it, apart from them. This is pretty much what the tune is about and I think it also captures a severe form of depression intended in the vocals”

The Devil is the lead single from the bands forthcoming EP Glitter Years and based on this release,  Darlings are going to be the soundtrack of the summer!
