ALRIGHT – TANGERINE DREAM

Alright, are a four piece indie -rock band band based in Blackpool and were formed during the global pandemic in 2020. The band  consider themselves to be “normal lads, with normal jobs, from a normal town”, of which they possess a well-documented sentimental love for.

Tangerine Dream is the bands second single release of 2021 and it’s song reflecting on the love of the bands home town, Blackpool, which is reflected in the lyric:

“Nothing seems to change, All these streets they look the same, It doesn’t matter how you’re brought up, You’re not the one to, the one to blame,We’ve been living in a tangerine dream, But that’s not, that’s not enough, For, for me”

The song is played on acoustic guitar, with a heartfelt vocal, and has a hint of strings in the bridge and chorus; demonstrating that the band are prepared to experiment and push ground with their sound.

I really like this song and can’t wait for the bands next releases as I think they have got a big future in front of them.

Tangerine Dream is set for release on Friday 21st May and can be pre-saved on all streaming platforms here
