Read Between The Lines is the brand new single from Greenock based singer songwriter, Mark Maclean on Eggman Records.
Musically the song is uplifting and full of positivity, which is much needed in these dark times. With a catchy driving bass riff, supported with an acoustic guitar and jangly guitars, Mark has released a fantastic song that gives the song a real The Coral vibe.
The outro breaks down at the end to put Mark’s fantastic vocal in the spotlight and the chant of
“We get high then come down”
On discussing the new song, Mark says,
“This new track is all about the ups and downs of life. Built around the idea that life is like a playground and you can’t have the highs without the lows. For me it’s a reminder that good times are always just around the corner and everything’s all part of the cycle”.
Read Between The Lines is released on Friday 16th April and will be available across all digital platforms on Eggman Records.
