Liverpool singer song writer Lee Ford is set to release his debut single My Best Friend, a song that is very relatable.

The song is about a friendship, developed in childhood, that despite its ups and downs has stayed strong.

Like his Liverpudlian contemporaries (Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Lee Mavers), Ford’s lyrics give the song real meaning, with that undeniable timeless Liverpool pop sound.

Using lockdown wisely, Lee has written a number of songs and is currently in the process of recording them. Songs that are about working class life and experiences of growing up in Liverpool.

If My Best Friend is anything to go by, Lee has set the standard very high and, we at ThisIsTheMusic can’t wait to see what he has got in store for his next release!
