The Inner City Lonely Blues, is a fantastic song by Jake Davey. It’s taken a year to come to light as Jake was never quite happy with it, but as the saying goes good things come to those who wait.
The song is predominantly an acoustic track and boosts a memorable melody, brilliant guitar riff and even a bit of harmonica that gives the song a a bit of Dylan and later day Weller vibes.
The chorus will be one that is sung by many at gigs as it’s powerful, instantly memorable and positive.
The Inner City Lonely Blues is released on Friday 5th March and is available on all of the usual streaming platforms.
