Feed Your Wolves is the project name for North East musician Andy Davidson, with the name chosen because of a quote the phrase appears in.

“There are two wolves always fighting inside me. One is filled with anger, hate, jealousy, shame and lies. The other wolf is filled with love, joy, truth and peace, the battle rages inside of you and everyone. Which wold will win?”

Hurricane, is the follow up EP to the album Save Yourself (it’s brilliant), and it is full of beautiful melodies, memorable guitar riffs and great lyrics.

The first song on the EP is Don’t Leave Me and it’s a great start to the EP. It lasts just 1 1/2 minutes, but it’s impact is huge. It has all the hallmarks of a flag waving, lighters in the air vibe and would be a great start to any gig.

The title track Hurricane is next and it’s huge. Brilliant composition and great production, with really powerful drumming and a great guitar sound. The emotion in the singing, particularly in the chorus is inspirational. This song also drops its temp in the last minute, which really showcases the brilliant drumming on the track.

I’ve Been Waiting For You starts off with just an acoustic guitar and a little guitar riff and is really upbeat.

Stars is a more rocky than the previous song: I love the thought that has gone into the running order: Stars showcases Andy’s brilliant range in his voice. The song is full of hope and longing for better times in the future.

Let Me Breathe again showcases Andy’s brilliant vocal range and is another rocky song. The guitar playing on this song is great and is topped off with a guitar solo that band/artist who plays lead guitar would be proud of.

Every Day That I Wake starts off with an acoustic guitar only, before the guitars, drums and keys build the song up which leads to harmonies before the song reaches its climax.

The EP is full of anthemic rock and showcases not only Andy’s brilliant vocal and lyrics, but also ability to compose songs.
