Emma and The Idles have started 2021, on fire by dropping their latest single Owe It To You and it is a brilliant indie pop song.

The song has a lot of energy and authenticity that lends itself to being powerful and uplifting song and having self-belief and self-confidence to be yourself.

The song starts off with the bass, guitar and vocal, slowly building up to the middle eight and chorus, where a powerful and angelic voice is showcased.

What is also apparent on the song is how tight the band are. The song drops into different keys and different time signatures to keep the music fresh and different to what anyone else is doing at the moment.

Owe It To You has got the potential to be the song that breaks Emma & The Idles into the mainstream very quickly.
