Manchester band, Rolla have started 2021 on fire by releasing Sweet Lullaby as their latest single.

From the opening guitar riff, Sweet Lullaby hits you like an express train and takes you on a journey of pure rocknroll and makes you miss live gigs even more. The guitar riff remains throughout the song and is totally mesmerising.

The concept of Sweet Lullaby stems from the idea that 50,000 people can be listening to the same song and yet have different reasons why they love the song so much.

The song has powerful lyrics throughout, including the line which could easily be aimed at lockdown and 2020: “Same shit, different day that line is so cliched” However, in keeping in line with the song’s theme it could easily be about being stuck in a dead end job. I’ll leave it up-to the reader as to what it means.
