The Capollos – Telephone Review

Scottish Indie rockers, The Capollos return with a brand new single ‘Telephone’ and it is another brilliant song that will have you singing along instantly.

Telephone, is a much slower pace than their last electrifying (excuse the pun) single Electrify; which at the time of writing has nearly 16,000 streams on Spotify; and shows a different side to the band not previously seen.

Telephone was written towards the end of 2019 and is extremely catchy and has had this writer toe-taping along with every listen.

Any listener will be able to relate to the lyrics and emotive topic of the song. You can hear the heartache, frustration and confusion at how a relationship has run its course. (“I don’t want your kisses anymore no, no, no” sings bass player Lloyd McDonald).

The Capollos are a band that are destined to play arenas before too much longer and have already supported legendary band Primal Scream, Indie legends The Pigeon Detectives , The Sherlocks and up and coming band The Snuts.

Telephone is a song that sets them up very nicely for 2021 and achieving that goal. I for one can’t wait to catch them live and see them storm 2021 and add more fans to their ever-growing cult following.

You can pre-save Telephone here, which is released on 11th December.
