Blackpool indie rockers return with their first song of 2024 and it’s 4 minutes of sublime indie pop!

Alright, who have racked up over 100,000 Spotify streams across 5 releases and tipped by tastemakers This Feeling as ‘Big in 2024’ continue to go from strength to strength.

Consisting of Joe Darnell, (Vocals), Matt Bunnage (Rhythm Guitar), Ben Warwick (Lead Guitar), Brad Mills (Bass) and Liam Smith (Drums), the 5-piece have had a whirlwind 12 months; Playing headline shows in their hometown: debut London show and appearances at numerous festival appearances, Alright are consistently showing they are a band destined for big things through their highly infectious songs and high-octane live performances. This view is further showcased on their new single Run Away.

This highly infectious track will have you bouncing around from the start, thanks to its vibrant upbeat feel. Opening up with strummed guitars, the song is a high octane banger, thanks to its hypnotic drum beat and its crisp catchy guitar hooks. It’s a real toe tapper.

It’s a euphoric and highly addictive track, with a sublime melody that will be stuck in your head and having a real swagger.

Joe’s vocal is engaging and captivating and delivered in true style and paints a picture about love.

The addition of “dah dah dah” in the choruses is a clever addition, and it will surely be a hit with festival crowds this summer.

At around 2 minutes the song tempo is broken down into a drum beat coupled with strummed guitars and chanting vocals, it builds into a crescendo before exploding into a soaring guitar solo that really showcases the high-level of musicianship on display within the band.
